1. What social contracts do we follow to when we are driving a car?

To pay attention to the signs, lights and the pedestrians.

2. What happens when drivers ignore the rules (social contracts)?

They get fines, tickets or they kill someone or themselves.

3. What are some examples of social contracts that people need to follow so our society works well and safely?

To put on their seatbelts and follow the speed limits.

4. What are some examples of online devices?

Examples are computers, internet, ect..

5. What are some tools you can use to interact with others online?

Talkn online, Use MySpace, Facebook, AIM, E-mail

6. What can you do online to harm others?

Some things you can do is bully them by threatning them, stalking them,telling them things that are not safe

7. What are some examples of online social contracts?

Not put personal info on the internet, putting inappropriate picture and videos

8. Why does the Internet make it easier for some people to disregard responsible social contracts?”

Because they don't have any rule against it.

9. Why doesn’t the Internet have strict rules of social conduct?

Because it is a place where you escape reality and to watever u want.

10. What is the Golden Rule, and how can you follow it online?

The Golden rule is Threats others as you want to be treated. I could use this rule online by not putting or writting things about other people that i don't want people say about me.

11. Define the word empathy and say how having empathy for others relates to following the Golden Rule.

* the intellectual identification with or vicarious experiencing of the feelings, thoughts, or attitudes of another.

* the imaginative ascribing to an object, as a natural object or work of art, feelings or attitudes present in oneself: By means of empathy, a great painting becomes a mirror of the self.

Empathy for others relates to the Golden Rule because you would want other to treat you with empathy no matter what.
